We've already told you all the basics for good skin; like intake of plenty of water, minimizing sugary foods, good quality skin care is familiar but what about required skincare vitamins. Essential Vitamins that make our skin healthy are A, B, C, E and K. These can be taken as dietary supplements and should be applied over the skin, and get them naturally from the foods you take. Few vitamins that for skin care are:
Vitamin A that effectively repairs dark spots, reduces wrinkles, acne and the unwanted lines, giving smoother and toned skin. Foods like sweet potatoes, dark vegetables, and carrots are rich in Vitamin A.
Vitamin B3 (Niacin), improves moisture retention in the skin, keeps skin softer and smoother, lessen the dryness and fine lines. Abundantly found in whole wheat flour, peanuts, chicken, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds and lean red meat.
Vitamin C an has an anti-ageing effect, fighting dark spots and blemishes, reduces wrinkles and redness, and boost hydration. High in citrus foods, like oranges, lemons, and grapefruit and in broccoli, strawberries, and spinach.
Vitamin E is a moisturizing and antioxidant agent, that prevents dryness and wrinkles in skin, provide skin protection, against the sun. For this eat more nut and seeds, almonds and hazelnut.
Vitamin K makes the skin look brighter and fights fine lines and dark circles. Get it from spinach, lettuce, cabbage, green beans.
