Protecting
your skin from harmful rays is essential at any time of year, but it
should be a top priority in the months when the sun’s glow is most
intense. It may be useful for the soul to soak up some sun after a
long winter, but it can mean trouble for your skin. Therefore,
slathering on a broad spectrum sunscreen with a higher SPF is a great
first line of defense.
It's
never too late! So, if you are going out in the sun, here are a few
ways you can add to your sun-smart routine:
- Avoid Peak hours between 11 A.M. and 3 P.M.
- Wear Broad -brimmed hat
- Use broad-spectrum sunscreen gel with SPF 30 or higher
- Be sure to reapply sunscreen after every 2 hours often to avoid sweating off or washing off the sunscreen.
- Drink More Water
- Use Sunglasses that block UVA and UVB rays
- You must apply sunscreen before you get dressed. SPF needs a at least 20 minutes to sink in before your skin is completely protected from UV rays
- Stay out of Direct Sunlight
- Wear protective clothing to cover your skin like tightly woven long-sleeved shirts
Bring
out the best in your skin. Protect yourself like a pro because UV
rays don't take a vacation.
Stay
Protected ! Stay Beautiful!
